Another Saugerties house struck by car

On February 2, 2017 at 08:58 am, Saugerties Police responded to a motor vehicle accident, car verses house, at 469 Kings Hwy in the Town of Saugerties. Investigation into the collision established that a 2005 Cadillac, operated by 28 year old Michael D. Henderson of Ruby NY, was travelling northbound on Kings Hwy when Henderson lost control of his vehicle. The vehicle struck a mailbox and proceeded across the opposite lane into the yard of box 469 and then into the house. The house was occupied at time of collision however, nobody was injured. The residence sustained minor structural damage and the Town of Saugerties Building inspector was called to the scene. Henderson did not sustain any injury as a result of the collision. Henderson was issued traffic tickets for Speed not reasonable and prudent and for failure to keep right.
