Scary moments this morning, as fire hit a mobile home in Athens. Five fire companies were called to South Water Street, across from the Athens Hotel, when fire broke out in a trailer just after 7. The occupants were still inside at the time. Fire command reports that everyone got out. The fire was reported knocked down about 25 minutes later. Volunteers from Athens, West Athens, Leeds, Catskill, and Hudson all responded. Central Hudson was also called to the scene.
