23 year old Derek Peeters of Philmont, 21 year old John Day of Greenport, and 18 year old Ryan Fair of Chatham entered a home on Middle Road in Greenport just before midnight November 7th and assaulted two residents of the home, who were sleeping at the time. The fled the residence and were found nearby, hiding, by Columbia County Sheriff's Deputies and State Police. The man and woman were treated for their injuries. The three plead guilty yesterday to the charges in Columbia County Court. They're scheduled to be sentenced April 14th.
