Two one-car accidents in the area on Saturday. The first was Saturday morning around 7:40, where a vehicle struck a utility pole on Route 23A in Kiskatom. There were reports that the occupants were trapped in the vehicle. Fire and rescue crews responded to the area of Mossy Hill Road.
On Saturday night, Canaan Fire and Chatham rescue were called to Route 22 at the Canaan Truck Stop, when a car crashed into a guardrail. One person was taken to Berkshire Medical Center. State Police investigated.
