Greenport fire and rescue were called to the Columbia County side of the Rip Van Winkle Bridge this afternoon, when two cars collided, causing one to end up on it's roof. Columbia County 9 1 1 reports that one patient was taken to Columbia Memorial. The other had only minor injuries. Due to the time of day, traffic problems were reported for both East and Westbound traffic. The call came in about 3:45. The accident scene was clear by 5pm.
