In response to multiple inquiries, Columbia County Sheriff David Bartlett has expressed his intent to maintain his office’s long tradition of cooperating and working with all law enforcement partners, including federal law enforcement agencies, in all matters related to public safety.
The statement was made in response to recent interest related to federal immigration policy and the City of Hudson’s decision to rebuke U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.
