Cairo Police and Fire, and three ambulances are on the scene of a serious two-car accident on Route 23-Westbound. The crash is between Route 23B and Route 32. One of the drivers, a man, was unconscious. He is being airlifted to Albany Med. Two other people are being treated for less serious injuries. Traffic in that area is expected to be backed up. Round Top firemen are assisting with the landing zone, which is at the State Police barracks.
