State Police arrest Tannersville man for robbery

PRESS RELEASEOn March 9th, 2017 the state police in Catskill arrested DONALD A. PESCIOTTA, age 27, of Tannersville for Robbery 3rd, a D Felony.

On October 28th, 2016 the state police and The Greene County Sheriff’s Office began an investigation into a robbery that had occurred in the early morning hours on that date at the Cumberland Farms located at 7582 State Route 23A in the village of Hunter. As the result of a lengthy investigation state police arrested PESCIOTTA for Robbery 3rd. It is alleged that PESCIOTTA entered the Cumberland Farms and demanded money from the clerk. He then fled the store on foot with approximately $150.00 in U.S. Currency. PECIOTTA was processed and arraigned before Town Justice Wooten in the Town of Catskill court and remanded to Greene County Jail.
