This is the final weekend for Fairview Cinema 3. After 44 years in business, they are closing their doors Sunday night. Owner Bruce Mitchinson made the tough decision to close the business after several years of not being able to convert all three theatres to digital because of the high cost, and having the big chain up the road, gobbling up all the major movies. Bruce has decided to show "The Last Picture Show" from 1971 as his final film. Stop by Saturday and Sunday at 1pm and 7pm and take in one final movie. Be sure to wish Bruce the best. He ran a real classy business.
