New York fire weather officials have advised of an elevated riskfor fire spread again today due to dry surface fuels along withlow relative humidities and gusty winds.
Winds will be from the southwest to west at 15 to 20 mph withgusts to near 35 mph. Relative humidity values will be low,generally from 30 to 40 percent. In addition, temperatures willbe well above normal reaching into the upper 70s to mid 80s.
