A 71 year old man was airlifted to Albany med, following a serious one car accident this afternoon in Greenport. The crash happened just before 4pm on County Route 14, about a mile in from Route 9G. The vehicle went through a guard rail and ended up in a wooded area, on it's roof, trapping the man inside. Fire and rescue crews worked to free the man, before he was taken to the helicopter a Columbia Greene Community College.
