Pair arrested on Counterfeit Charges in Coxsackie

Utica, NY pair arrested for possessing multiple Counterfeit items.

On May 7, 2017, at approximately 10:00 p.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on I-87, in the Town of Coxsackie for a moving violation. During the interviewing of the driver for the moving violation the Trooper was able to establish probable cause to search the vehicle. Upon searching the vehicle multiple Trademark Counterfeit items marked for resale were located. The driver was issued a citation for a moving violation and released without further charges. Two passengers were arrested, Stephen A. Robinson, age 37 and Cory Robinson, age 41, both of Utica, NY, they were taken into custody, transported, and processed at SP Albany. Both men were subsequently charged with:

  • Trademark Counterfeiting 2nd; a Class E Felony. (2 counts each)
  • Trademark Counterfeiting 3rd; a Class A Misdemeanor (2 counts each)

Both men arraigned in the Town of Coxsackie Court and remanded to the Greene County Jail, Cory Robinson in lieu of $2500. Cash or $10,000. Bond. Stephen Robinson in lieu of $5,000. Cash or $10,000. Bond. Return court date of Cory Robinson May 10, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Stephen Robinson, May 11, 2017at 11:00, a.m. in the Town of Coxsackie Court.
