A man from Springfield Massachusetts was arrested this week, accused of stealing from the Chatham Price Chopper three times in 2016. 49 year old Robert Cook was brought from the Sullivan County Jail on Tuesday. He was taken to Ghent town court where he was charged with three counts of petit larceny. The three incidents were in June, July, and October 2016. One of those incidents was a shopping cart, according to State Police. Cook was arrested again on Tuesday, State Police charged him with criminal possession of a controlled substance at the Catskill Thruway entrance. He will answer those charges in Catskill Town Court.
