Three patients were taken to area hospitals, following three accidents Thursday in Columbia and Greene Counties. The first was on County Route 7 in Copake yesterday morning, just after 7:30. They were taken to Albany Med with head injuries.
Greenport fire and rescue responded to Route 9G by Olana just before 12:30, when two cars collided. One patient was transported to Columbia Memorial. Another refused medical attention.
Later that afternoon, Coxsackie fire and ambulance were on the scene of a two car accident. A 69 year old woman was injured in the crash at the Route 9W & Route 81 intersection, just after 4pm.
