Rhinebeck man charged with endangering 20-year-old disabled man

Red Hook, New York – On May 10, 2017, the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation from Rhinebeck arrested Mohamed Ibrahim, age 45, of Rhinebeck, New York, for Endangering the Welfare of an Incompetent Person in the 1st Degree, a Class E Felony.

On May 5, 2017, State Police commenced an investigation into a complaint reported to the New York State Justice Center. The investigation revealed that on May 2, 2017, Ibrahim kicked a disabled man in the leg, causing him to fall. 

The victim was treated by nursing staff at the residential facility which is for people with developmental disabilities. Ibrahim was issued an appearance ticket directing him to appear in the Town of Red Hook Court on May 11, 2017.
