Weekend accidents in Columbia County send four to the hospital

Two accidents over the weekend sent four patients to the hospital in Columbia County. Sunday afternoon in Chatham (pictured below) The two car crash at Route 295 and Austerlitz Street had firefighters from Chatham and Ghent, plus rescue squads from Chatham and Valatie on the scene. Two people were taken to Albany Med, one to Columbia Memorial.  Thank you to Chatham Fire Department for the pic. More here:

On Saturday evening, another two car accident, in Claverack ended with one patient taken to Albany Med. That crash was on Route 66 at Stottville road, just before 7pm. West Ghent Fire and Greenport Rescue responded there.
