Two men charged with breaking into Hudson cars

Press Release – Rash of Larcenies Reported – 2 in Custody

Hudson Police started the day investigating several reports of larceny from motor vehicles and vehicle vandalism that apparently occurred overnight.

The thefts and vandalism occurred in the neighborhood of Joslen Place and Riverledge Drive. There were four incidents reported so far.

At 10:39am HPD received a report of two white males trying to sell tools to a work crew in the vicinity of 215 Union Street. When HPD located and interviewed the two subjects they were found in possession of tools that had earlier been reported stolen from a work truck parked at a residence on Joslen Place. Both men were also found in possession of crack pipes and a small quantity of crack cocaine.

Arrested were GLENN CREWS, 21 yrs old, from Hillsdale, NY and JESSE LABSHERE, age 26, of Canaan, NY. Both men were charged with possession of stolen property and criminal possession of a controlled substance (crack cocaine) both misdemeanors.

As of this writing, both men are being arraigned in Hudson City Court
