Chatham Man Arrested for Possession of Child Pornography

Ethan R. Reck, 21 of Chatham, NYOn June 7, 2017 at approximately 12:30 am New York State Police responded to a suspicious activity complaint in the Town of Chathm. as a result a traffic stop was conducted on Highland Rd., Chatham.
During an interview of the operator, Ethan Reck it was discovered that he possessed what appeared to be images of Child Pornography.
The New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation responded to the scene and commenced an investigation.
Reck was chared with 4 counts of Possession of a Sexual Performance by a Child, a Class E Felony. He was arraigned in the Town of Claverack Court in front of Hon. Michael Cozzolino and remanded to the Columbia County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bail/ 40,000 bond.
