Bayport, NY man arrested for possessing a Forged Connecticut Driver’s License and Cocaine.

PRESS RELEASENew Baltimore, NY – On June 21, 2017, at approximately 11:00 a.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on I-87, in the Town of New Baltimore for a speeding violation. During the interviewing of the driver the Trooper was able to established probable cause search the vehicle and its occupants which produced marihuana, cocaine and a Forged Connecticut Driver License. One of the passengers, Jake M. Blumenthal, age 20, of Bayport, NY was taken into custody, transported, and processed at SP Kingston and was subsequently charged with:
- Possession of a Forged Instrument 2nd Degree; a Class D Felony.
- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree; a Class A Misdemeanor.
Blumenthal is scheduled to be arraigned in the Town of New Baltimore Court at 3:00 p.m. today’s date. No bail or return court information is available at this time. The driver of the vehicle and one additional passenger were ticketed and released.
