Crews were called to Kaaterskill Falls late Monday afternoon for a fallen hiker. The 60 year old man reportedly has serious injuries, and hypothermia, after falling about a half mile from the Kaaterskill Falls trail head.
Several fire companies and the rope rescue team were called to the scene, along with various rescue and police units.
What's making the rescue especially hard, is it is all being done in the dark.
