Following the death this week of 24 year old Anthony Myrie at Greene Correctional Facility, word has come out from the family of 38 year old Delmus Tanner, who died, after being on life support at Albany Med.
We're told he was found in his cell in November 2018, a victim of strangulation. Tanner was serving a sentence, stemming from a drug bust in July 2015 in Orleans County.
New York State officials have reported that Myrie died of cardiac arrest, and had no physical injuries.
State Police confirm that there is an active investigation in the Tanner case.
