Over half a dozen fire companies were called to the scene of a structure fire tonight.
It was first reported just before 10 at 1396 Route 66, back off the road in a wooded area.
Arriving units found a fully involved blaze. It was first reported as a trailer on fire, then changed to a large camper.
The fire also spread to areas of the woods.
It was reported that several explosions could be heard.
Greenport Rescue, The Columbia County Fire coordinator, Columbia County Sheriff's Office, and State Police were all on scene.
As of this writing, we've heard of no injuries.
Route 66 is closed through the area.
