Canaan, NY – On October 31, 2019 at approximately 7:10 p.m., State Police responded to the Canaan exit on I-90 for a report of an intoxicated patron who was stopped in the lane at the Thruway toll. The driver, Laura B. Clark, 54, of Austerlitz, NY, was found to be intoxicated. She was transported to SP Albany where her blood alcohol content was determined to be .30%.
Clark was subsequently charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated and released to a sober third party with appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Canaan Court on November 14, 2019 at 6:00 p.m.
