An Albany man is charged with four counts of public lewdness after police say he exposed himself in his car while asking women for directions.
According to Albany Police, Matthieu Burks asked a woman for directions on Thursday morning near Holland Ave and Cornell Drive.
As the woman approached the car, Burks allegedly exposed himself, started to masturbate, and then drove off. Police say Burks did the same thing to three other women in the city of Albany, and two of the incidents occurred near New Scotland Ave and Academy Road.
Officers were able to track down Burks but not before he tried to speed off and run a red light. He was eventually taken into custody on Park Ave between Quail and Ontario Streets.
Burks is scheduled to be arraigned in Albany on June 28th.
