After announcing that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's highly anticipated Netflix docuseries will arrive before the end of the year, Page Six has now announced its official release date.

According to the outlet, the docuseries will be available on the streaming platform on December 8th. However, there's still no information about the show's title or any promotional images and trailers from Netflix. After countless reports of disagreements between the couple and the creative team, it was thought the show might be delayed until 2023.

Source revealed to Page Six that the series will showcase the former royal couple's "love story." They also revealed that the show was at first called Chapters but the couple reportedly changed their mind and a new title has not been made public yet.

It was also reported that Harry and Meghan had first turned to Oscar-nominated director Garrett Bradley to direct their series but later dropped him after some issues. "Garrett wanted Harry and Meghan to film at home and they were not comfortable doing that," sources told Page Six. "There were a few sticky moments between them, and Garrett left the project. Harry and Meghan’s own production company captured as much footage as they could before Liz Garbus was hired.”

The couple then chose director Liz Garbus for the final product. The docuseries has been in production for over a year and the royal couple is believed to have talked about many members of the royal family including King Charles, Queen Consort Camilla, Prince William, and Kate Middleton.

"It's nice to be able to trust someone with our story — a seasoned director whose work I've long admired — even if it means it may not be the way we would have told it," Meghan said in her Variety cover story.
