The Town of Wappinger is preparing for a special Valentine's Day celebration with its first-ever vow renewal ceremony. The event, set for Friday, February 14, at 10 AM, will take place at Wappinger Town Hall. Town Supervisor Joseph D. Cavaccini, along with the Wappinger Town Board, will lead the ceremony as part of the town's 150th birthday celebrations.

Residents, whether newlyweds or long-time married couples, are invited to renew their vows in the presence of friends and neighbors. The ceremony will also offer couples the opportunity to be wed, with ordinations conducted by Supervisor Cavaccini. Following the ceremony, attendees can enjoy a reception featuring light hors d’oeuvres, a champagne toast, and photo opportunities.

The town encourages anyone planning to attend to RSVP to ensure a memorable and well-organized event. For more details, residents can visit the Town of Wappinger's official website.
