Rochester, NY man arrested for possessing 10 pounds of Marijuana.

PRESS RELEASECoxsackie, NY – On June 28, 2017, at approximately 4:04 p.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on I-87, in the Town of Coxsackie for a vehicle and traffic violation. The driver of the vehicle, Stephon A. Ramsahai, age 32, of Rochester, NY, was found to be in possession of approximately 10 pounds of Marijuana and in the care of a child less than 17 years old. Ramsahai was taken into custody, transported and processed at SP Albany, were he was subsequently charged with:
- Criminal Possession of Marijuana in the 1st Degree; a Class C Felony
- Endangering the Welfare of a Child in the 2nd Degree; a Class A Misdemeanor
- Vehicle and Traffic Violations
Ramsahai was arraigned before the Town of Coxsackie Court and remanded to the Greene County Jail in lieu of $15,000. Cash or $30,000. Bond. A return court date was set for June 30, 2017, at 9:30 a.m. The child was safely turned over to biological parent.
