Police Pursuit lands Philmont man in jail

A Philmont man is in the Columbia County Jail, following a police pursuit that began in Stockport and ended with a foot chase that ended in the Hudson City Cemetery. State Police say the pursuit included a car accident on Columbia Street. They say, the other driver was not injured. 

Police say, 25 year old Michael West was wanted for a domestic incident, when his vehicle was spotted. The incident included Columbia County Sheriff's Deputies and City of Hudson Police. 

The long list of charges includes:

Resisting arrest, Fleeing an officer in a motor vehicle, leaving the scene of an accident, reckless driving, and a long list of vehicle and traffic charges.

He was sent to the Columbia County jail on 2500 dollars bail. Bail was also set in the city of Hudson. He will answer charges in both locations.
