Hudson woman dies in this morning's accident

State Police have released some information on this morning's fatal accident in Livingston. They say a 40 year old woman from Hudson was the one killed in the crash on Route 9 at County Route 31. They also say, she was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the car. The crash occurred when one car blew through a stop sign and was struck by the other vehicle on Route 9, causing both to roll over, one catching fire.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other women in her vehicle, aged 53 and 63 were taken to the hospital with non life threatening injuries. The road was closed for several hours.

We hope to get a full press release from State Police this afternoon.
