Schenectady man faces drug charges in Coxsackie

Schenectady, NY man arrested for possessing 506 grams of Marijuana.

PRESS RELEASECoxsackie, NY – On July 22, 2017, at approximately 4:16 a.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on I-87, in the Town of Coxsackie for a vehicle and traffic violation. The driver of the vehicle, Warren A. Lewter, age 35, of Schenectady, NY, was found to be in possession of approximately 506 grams of marijuana and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended driver license. Lewter was taken into custody, transported and processed at SP Albany, were he was subsequently charged with:

  • Criminal Possession of Marijuana in the 2nd Degree; a Class D Felony
  • Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 3rd Degree; an Unclassified Misdemeanor.
  • Vehicle and Traffic Violation

Lewter was arraigned before the Town of Coxsackie Court on July 22, 2017, at 8:00 a.m. No bail information available at this time.
