Accidents keep rescue crews busy

Accidents kept Fire and Rescue crews busy right through the day Saturday.

The most serious was in Livingston, where two vehicles collided on County Route 31 near Sparrow Bush Road. The accident was just after 11:30. The patients were taken to Columbia Memorial.

Early Saturday, in Niverville, a car crashed into a tree on Route 9 at Rapp Road. One patient was taken to Albany Med. State Police investigated.

Just before noon, a car struck a utility police in Mellenville. The crash was on Church Street, near Claverack town park. 

An accident just after 9pm, brought crews to County Route 16 at Snydertown Road in Churchtown.

In Greene County, there were crashes in the Eastbound lanes of Route 23, at Five Mile Woods Road in Leeds, and on the Thruway, at the New Baltimore service area.
