On October 18, 2017, a trooper from the Schodack Station arrested 31-year-old Molly A. Lemoine for DWI. At approximately 1:00 p.m., troopers were dispatched to I-90 in the Town of East Greenbush for multiple 911 calls of an erratic operator. A responding trooper located a vehicle matching the description and observed it swerving across all three lanes of travel. A traffic stop was conducted and upon interviewing the driver a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected from her breath. Additionally, she had glassy bloodshot eyes and difficulty keeping her balance. Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were administered and Lemoine was placed under arrest for DWI.
Lemoine was transported to the station where she provided a breath sample resulting in a .41% blood alcohol concentration. She was charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated and traffic violations. She was processed and turned over to EMS for an evaluation, due to her high blood alcohol concentration.
