The man who was shot on North 5th Street in September, was arraigned in Columbia County Court Friday, after he was indicted on 2nd degree assault charges. At the time of his shooting police were looking for him on outstanding warrants. 22 year old Di-Quann Powell is accused of breaking a Hudson Police officer's foot, when they were attempting to arrest him in June. He plead not guilty to the charges and a trial date has been scheduled for March 12th, 2018.

On October 20, 2017 Di-Quann Powell was arraigned in County Court upon his inditment for Assault in the Second Degree, Honorable Jonathan D. Nichols presiding. The Court scheduled a trial for March 12, 2018. The Hudson Police Department investigated this matter and arrested Di-Quann Powell. John Hillman represents Di-Quann Powell. Di-Quann Powell is presumed to be innocent unless and until the People can prove his guilt beyond a reasonable doubt to all twelve (12) of twelve (12) jurors. (SCI No. 045-17)
