Claverack Man Arrested for Sex Abuse

On November 7, 2017 New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation at Livingston in Conjunction with the Columbia County District Attorney Paul Czajka’s Office arrested and charged Raymond G. Preusser, 66 of Craryville, NY.
In October of 2017, State Police BCI assigned to the Columbia County Child Advocacy Center (CAC) working in coordination with CAC personnel and the Columbia County CPS commenced an investigation into a series of incidents that occurred over the course of the past year.
The investigation resulted in Preusser being arrested and charged with one count each of Forcible Touching, Sex Abuse 2nd and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, all Class A Misdemeanors.
Preusser was arraigned in the Town of Claverack Court in Front of the Hon. Michael Brandon and Released on his Own Recognizances. He is scheduled to reappear in court on December 12 at 7:00pm.
