AN AUTOPSY WAS HELD YESTERDAY ON THE BODY OF A STUYVESANT MAN, WHO DIED AFTER CRASHING HIS CAR IN CLAVERACK TUESDAY NIGHT. THE COLUMBIA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE SAYS, 73 YEAR OLD RONALD MOORE LEFT ROUTE 9H AND ENDED UP IN THE PARKING LOT OF COYOTE FLACO, WHERE FOUR OTHER VEHICLES WERE HIT. HE WAS TAKEN TO COLUMBIA MEMORIAL, WHERE HE LATER DIED. 


AN INCIDENT IN COXSACKIE HAS LEAD TO THE ARREST OF A VILLAGE WOMAN. 35 YEAR OLD NICOLE MEIER WAS CHARGED BY STATE POLICE WITH ASSAULT AND ACTING IN A MANNER TO INJURE A CHILD. SHE WAS RELEASED, PENDING A COURT APPEARANCE.


A NEW LEBANON MAN HAS BEEN CHARGED WITH ASSAULT, WITH INTENT TO CAUSE PHYSICAL INJURY, IN CONNECTION WITH AN INCIDENT THAT WAS REPORTED NOVEMBER 30TH.. 23 YEAR OLD RILEY SMITH WAS ARRESTED BY STATE POLICE AT A LOCATION ON ROUTE 20. HE HAS A SCHEDULED COURT APPEARANCE.


A 15 YEAR OLD GIRL ALSO FACES ASSAULT CHARGES, IN THE VILLAGE OF CATSKILL.CATSKILL POLICE SAY, THE INCIDENT TOOK PLACE NOVEMBER 28TH. SHE WILL APPEAR IN FAMILY COURT.


A STUYVESANT WOMAN IS SCHEDULED TO BE SENTENCED TODAY IN COLUMBIA COUNTY COURT. 30 YEAR OLD LINDSAY BURKE WAS ARRESTED ON FORGERY CHARGES BY STATE POLICE IN JANUARY. SHE PLEAD GUILTY IN JULY.


A PEARL HARBOR REMEMBRANCE SERVICE WILL TAKE PLACE THIS AFTERNOON AT COLUMBIA GREENE COMMUNITY COLLEGE.IT WILL BE HELD IN THE DINING HALL BEGINNING AT NOON. THE PUBLIC IS WELCOME TO ATTEND.
