Man arrested for Drugs and Tampering with Evidence

PRESS RELEASEOn January 30th, 2018, New York State Police Investigators arrested Shaun Saviano for Tampering with Physical Evidence, a felony, as well as Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree, and Possession of a Hypodermic Instrument, both misdemeanors.
Investigators say that Saviano, age 30, of East Chatham, was arrested during a traffic stop in the Town of Colonie for possessing heroin, and hypodermic instruments.
During Saviano's processing at Troop G Headquarters, he attempted to destroy evidence, and was charged with felony Tampering with Physical Evidence. He was lodged at the Albany County Jail and is scheduled to appear in court for his arraignment.
