...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 3 AMEST SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy wet snow and gusty winds expected. Total snowaccumulations of 4 to 10 inches, with localized amounts around afoot, are expected. Wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph are possibletomorrow afternoon into the early evening producing someblowing and drifting snow.

* WHERE...In Connecticut, Northern Litchfield County. In NewYork, Eastern Rensselaer, Eastern Columbia and EasternDutchess Counties.

* WHEN...From midnight tonight to 3 AM EST Saturday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on difficult travel conditions,including during the morning and afternoon commutes on Friday.Tree branches could fall and isolated to scattered power outagesare possible. Be prepared for significant reductions invisibility at times from the heavy snow and blowing and driftingsnow. Snowfall rates may exceed an inch an hour late tomorrowmorning through the afternoon.
