New Lebanon burglar going to prison

From Columbia County D.A.’s office:

On February 26, 2018, Honorable Richard M. Koweek sentenced Michael Lasher to two to four years with the New York State Department of Corrections and ordered him to pay $2,200 restitution upon his conviction of Burglary in the 3rd Degree. The New York State Police investigated this matter and arrested Michael Lasher. The Public Defender represents Michael Lasher. (SCI No. 087-16)


Past history in the case:

An East Greenbush man plead guilty today, before the start of his trial in Columbia County Court. 45 year old Michael Lasher Plead guilty to 3rd degree burglary charges, for the November 2015 break-in of a New Lebanon residence on Route 20, where he stole over $2000 in power tools. At the time, he was employed by a paving contractor, doing a job at the residence.

Sentencing is scheduled for January 29th.

On December 4, 2017, Michael Lasher was convicted by plea before trial, as charged in Superior Court Information, of Burglary in the 3rd Degree, Honorable Richard M. Koweek presiding. The Court will sentence Michael Lasher on January 29, 2018. The New York State Police investigated this matter and arrested Michael Lasher. The Public Defender represents Michael Lasher.
