Trial date set for man in Niverville break-in case

On March 28, 2018, Michael Makoske was arraigned in County Court upon his indictment for two (2) Counts of Burglary in the 3rd Degree, Honorable Richard M. Koweek presiding. The Court scheduled a trial for November 26, 2018. The Hudson Police Department and New York State Police investigated this matter and arrested Michael Makoske. The Public Defender represents Michael Makoske. Michael Makoske is presumed to be innocent unless and until the People can prove his guilt beyond a reasonable doubt to all twelve (12) of twelve (12) jurors. (Indictment No. 18-008)

Schodack man arrested for Kinderhook burglary

PRESS RELEASE

Kinderhook, New York – On December 18, 2017 the New York State Police from the Kinderhook barracks and Livingston Bureau of Criminal Investigation arrested Michael J. Makoske, age 28, of Schodack, NY, for Burglary in the 3rd degree, a class D felony.

On September 21, 2017, the State Police received a burglary complaint from CaroVail Incorporated on County Route 28 in the town of Kinderhook. A three-month investigation led to the identification and arrest of Makoske.

Makoske was arraigned before the town of Greenport Court and remanded to the Columbia County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.
