Woman files civil rights lawsuit against Hudson Police

A federal civil rights lawsuit has been filed by a Hudson woman, who claims she was injured by Police, while filming a demonstration in front of the old Police Station on Warren Street February 23rd, 2017. The Times Union is reporting, According to court documents, Chief Edward Moore and Sergeant Randy Clark shoved her to the ground, then picked her up and body slammed her to the ground again.  The woman, Tiffany Damon says her phone was seized for several hours. The lawsuit also says she was injured. She is seeking unspecified damages. Several other officers, who have not been identified, are named as witnesses.

Hudson Police Chief Edward Moore said he can not comment, because he hasn't seen the lawsuit.
