The town of Copake has issued a State of Emergency:
STATE OF EMERGENCY DECLARED FOR TOWN OF COPAKE: Town Supervisor Jeffrey Nayer has issued a State of Emergency for the Town of Copake effective 10 AM today, continuing for the next 36 hours due to high winds that have resulted in downed trees and power lines. There shall be no unnecessary travel on state, county, or town roads in Copake during this time.
Many roads closed, trees down, power outages.
As of 12 noon, Taconic Hills Schools are staying with their regular schedule.
