Accident closes Route 9H

Route 9H in West Ghent is closed, after an oil tanker from Valley Oil left the road and took out a utility pole. The crash was North of Route 66 near Bender Boulevard. Several fire companies, Greenport Rescue, Police agencies, and National Grid are all on the scene. The truch was reported to be leaking fuel
