Off-duty correctional officer charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated

On Monday April 30, 2018, State Police arrested Brad C. Ingraham, 40 of Greenville, NY for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated-Leandra's Law

At 9 p.m. state police responded to a single vehicle property damage accident in the area SR 81 and School House Road in the town of Durham. Upon arrival the trooper observed a vehicle off the road. The driver was identified as Brad C. Ingraham along with two minors as passengers. 

Ingraham suffered a laceration to his head and was treated at the scene by Durham EMS. The two minors were not injured.Investigation revealed that Ingraham, an off duty correctional officer, was impaired by alcohol. He was arrested at the scene and transported to the state police barracks in Catskill for processing. 

He provided a breath sample resulting in a .27% Blood Alcohol Content (BAC).Ingraham was arraigned in the town of Durham Court where he was arraigned in front of Judge Kennedy for DWI-Leandra's Law, a felony. and other charges. 

He was released on his own recognizance with a return date May 21, 2018 at 4:40 p.m.
