Accidents keep crews busy today

Fire and Rescue crews were kept busy Friday afternoon, with three area accidents. 

The first was just after 12:30 in Craryville, where a car struck a utility pole and rolled over on Route 23. The crash was just east of Route 11A.

Just after that, a car rolled over in Cairo. The occupant was reported to be trapped in the vehicle. The accident was near the former Junior Speedway.

A third accident took place at 2:30 in Claverack, where three cars collided on Route 23B at Stone Mill Road. Claverack Fire and Greenport rescue treated a man for back pain. The Columbia County Sheriff's Office investigated.
