Niverville man arrested for protection order violation

PRESS RELEASE

 Kinderhook, New York – On June 24, 2018, the New York State Police from the Kinderhook barracks arrested John C. Leibach, age 31, of Niverville, NY, for Criminal Contempt in the 1stdegree, a class E felony.

Leibach was observed by Troopers at approximately 5:50 p.m., on Parker Hall Road in the company of a protected party in contradiction of a Judge’s order. Leibach was notified in court of the order of protection, and was previously arrested three times by the State Police for the same violation.

Leibacjh was arraigned before the village of Kinderhook Court, and remanded to the Columbia County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $1,000 bond.
