A Pittsfield woman was arraigned Friday in Columbia County Court, after her indictment on Felony drug charges. After pleading not guilty, a trial date for 29 year old Jalysia Banks was set for November 26th.

On February 16, 2018 the New York State Police from the Livingston barracks arrested Jalysia Banks, age 29, of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 4th degree, a class C felony.
On February 16, 2018, at approximately 12:30 p.m., Troopers initiated a traffic stop of a 2004 Toyota Camry on the Taconic State Parkway in the town of Austerlitz for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation during the stop with assistance from K9 Rato discovered approximately 3.3 grams of Ecstasy.
Banks was arraigned before the town of Livingston Court and remanded to the Columbia County Jail in lieu of $500 cash bail or $1,000 bond.
