Police rescue hiker, deep in the Greenport woods

A 58 year old woman from Stockport was rescued by Police after a morning hike went wrong at the Greenport Conservation Area. 

We're told them woman got off the trail and became lost in the woods, in a very muddy area, about a mile and a half from Joslen Boulevard. 

Police were able to locate her, by pinging her cell phone. We're told she was in there close to three hours. She had only minor injuries, and was very tired. She was taken to Columbia Memorial by Greenport Rescue.

On the scene were The Columbia County Sheriff's Office, Greenport Police, and members of Greenport Fire Department.
