From NYS DOT:
DOT anticipates Route 23A to reopen by sunset today (Friday, Sept. 21), weather and conditions permitting. Once that occurs, traffic will return to an alternating single lane pattern controlled by signals (same as it was immediately before the closure began). Work is expected to continue into next week while traffic remains in the single alternating lane pattern. Motorists should continue to drive slowly, safely and responsibly through the work zone.
