PRESS RELEASEThe New York State Police are currently investigating a menacing incident and subsequent shooting involving a State Police member on Route 82, Stanfordville, NY on Tuesday, September 25.

On September 25, at approximately 11:00 AM, State Police Poughkeepsie Communications and Dutchess County 911 received a call that an intoxicated individual, armed with a knife, was threatening a woman at the Coyote Flaco Restaurant in Stanfordville, NY.

Trooper Katherine Gorey responded to the location and encountered Jaime Lopez, age 41, of Stanfordville, NY next to the driver’s door of a vehicle occupied by a woman.
