40 years on Columbia & Greene County radio today

Although I began my radio career in 1976, I had to work at three radio stations before I was able to get a job in my home town

My first station was in Utica, then Albany, and then Burlington Vermont.

I came to WHUC AM & FM in 1978. November 5th to be exact, doing the 2 to 7pm time slot.

I've come and gone a couple of times, returning for good in 1995. Radio has sure changed a lot on my end over the past 40 years, but I've seemed to survived the changes, and I'm glad to still be informing and serving the public many years later.

For those of you that are curious I was at

WTLB-Utica 1976-1977

WPTR-Albany 1977-1978

WDOT-Burlington VT 1978

WHUC 1978-1982

WHUC FM (call letters changed to WRVW) 1982-88

WGHQ/WBPM-Kingston 1988-90

WCKL/WQKZ (later to become The Cat) 1990-93

WGY/WGY-fm 1993-95

Then back to Hudson/Catskill On WHUC/WCKL, The Cat, & Oldies 93.5
